RAYMIE WAYNE, PhD, JD, MSW, is the associate dean of the School of Graduate and Professional Studies, and an associate professor of social work at the University of Saint Joseph in West Hartford, CT.  Prior to becoming associate dean, she served as department chair and baccalaureate program director for the Department of Social Work and Latino Community Practice.  Much of her scholarship centers on the intersection of social work and law.  Topics of study include legal issues in field education, child welfare and therapeutic jurisprudence.   She earned her PhD from the University at Albany, her JD from the University of Connecticut, and her MSW from Fordham University.
