JULIA K. MOEN, MSW, LICSW, is former associate professor of undergraduate social work education at Bethel University in St. Paul, Minnesota. For 25 years she served as the field director and taught social work practice, field seminar, and policy. She also maintained a clinical practice in the University Counseling Center. She has been in leadership roles for the Minnesota Chapter of the National Association of Social Workers and the Minnesota Conference on Social Work Education. She served on the Baccalaureate Program Directors Field Committee and has trained new field directors at the annual conference since 2005. Her conference papers and presentations focus on field education, international partnerships, and supervision. She has two publications. Her MSW degree is from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities and she currently practice hopsice medical social work and holds a clinical practice.
